Atelier is the premier NYC based musical collective for discerning musicians who love to practice their craft, and to perform. Under the music direction of Dr. Thomas Millioto, musicians in Atelier are guided and challenged in the rehearsal room, and on the stages of New York City.

Atelier gives you the guidance, network, and clout you need to confidently take the stage in NYC, all without all the hassles of putting a band together and getting bookings. It’s also a forum for honing the skill sets needed for a great band to function, the skills that stand outside of the ones needed to play an instrument or sing: selecting material, achieving a good blend between the band’s musical forces live, counter-intuitive but effective rehearsal techniques, and tactics for a better live performance.

You can expect:

• • An experienced Music Director with a doctorate in Guitar Performance to guide rehearsals.

The band FM channels the magic of FM radio, and is for the ambitious musician! The music will require fairly exacting delivery of specific parts, as well as improvisational skills that can be relied upon under the pressure of the spotlight.

Heart of Gold brings their own alchemy to rock’s greatest songs. This band is for the musician who wants more flexibility with the arrangements they will be playing. Here, the arrangements come to you and invite your skills forward.
