What is Thomas Millioto’s Atelier?
Atelier is a growing community of musically-minded people with Dr. Thomas Millioto acting as Music Director and Producer. There are workshops for live performances, recordings, and music instruction. Joining an Atelier performance workshop is much like joining a band where the difficult work is done for you, so that you can concentrate on your music. There are rehearsals and a performance, but unlike being in a band, there are also services provided such as:
-
- Music Direction
- A performance already booked
- Rehearsals already booked
- Attention paid to your being matched with people who are on your musical wavelength.
Experience the creative vibrancy of Thomas Millioto’s Atelier, the premier NYC based musical collective for discerning musicians. Guided by Music Director Dr. Thomas Millioto, Atelier provides the logistics and guidance you need to confidently take the stage in NYC. Atelier takes care of all the details involved with forming a band, scheduling and efficiently running rehearsals, and securing bookings. Take a musical expedition, discover new skills, and revel in the feeling of delivering unforgettable live performances. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of this extraordinary collective. Schedule your free strategy session now and get on the priority list to reserve your spot for an upcoming Atelier project!
You can expect:
-
- An experienced Music Director with a doctorate in Guitar Performance to guide rehearsals.
- Conveniently located rehearsal spaces.
- Rehearsals culminate in live performances in NYC clubs (must be 21 or older)
- A non-judgmental environment, conducive to creative work.
- To be placed with others who are ready and able to play the music you are ready and able to play, all without putting a band together!
- Zoom band meetings, to make rehearsal time more productive.
- A free, personalized strategy session by way of Zoom. To schedule a strategy session for an upcoming workshop, or to get on the priority list, see directly below.
Joining Atelier is easy. All it takes is to give the music director an idea of who you are musically, so a workshop can be planned with your skills and goals in mind. Do you have a video or audio recording of a recent performance? You can send that. Don’t have one handy? Pick a time on my schedule and let’s spend 15 minutes getting musically acquainted.
On this calendar, you can schedule your free 15-minute strategy session for the next round of workshops. During this session, you will make your musical journey and direction known. This will place you on the priority list for your spot in an upcoming Atelier project that’s right for you.
Please have your instrument ready or your voice warmed up at the start of your Zoom strategy session.
